| Reverend John R. Auby Reverend John R. Auby is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. He is the son of Mrs. Audrey M. Auby and the late Mr. John A. Auby Jr. Fr. John is a graduate of Madison East High School and the University of Wisconsin Madison with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work. Fr. John worked as a Social Worker in Health Care, in Madison and Milwaukee for six years. Fr. John received his Master of Divinity Degree from the University of Saint Mary of the Lake, Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein, Illinois. Fr. John was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Madison in 1994 at St. Raphael Cathedral by Most Reverend William H. Bullock, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Madison. Fr. John served as Parochial Vicar at St. Bernard Parish in Middleton from 1994-1997, as Director of Vocations, and in residence at St. James Parish in Madison, from 1997-1999, as Parochial Vicar at St. Dennis Parish in Madison, from 1999-2000, as Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Spring Green, from 2000-2003 and as Pastor of St. William Parish in Janesville, from 2003 to the present. Fr. John currently serves as the Episcopal Liaison for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Diocese of Madison, is the Chaplain for the Janesville Serra Club, is the Chaplain for the Fr. Mark Mueller Council of the Knights of Columbus and has recently been appointed as the Diocesan Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus. |
